Product description
No-nonsense shoes with a story — in glossy burgundy patent leather. Widgets are simple, sturdy unisex shoes, produced in Europe by the same factory that makes the legendary M77 military boots. This version is made of patent leather for a polished, neat look.
The name Widgets comes from the creative district in Tartu, Estonia, where the shoe factory is located: The Widget Factory. During Soviet times, refrigerator parts and secret submarine components were made here — and, to deceive, also fake umbrellas and fake zippers that didn't work. Today, it's a creative hub full of artists, designers, cafes, and of course, the shoe factory.
