The 517 is made in Estonia, in the same factory as the famous Norwegian M77 combat boot.

This manufacturer has been building boots for more than 75 years. The brand's combat boots are worn by NATO armies, including those of Germany, Norway, Estonia and Finland, and in 2017 the company was named Defence Industry Company of the Year in Estonia.
