M77 aka Norwegian Combat Boots
Product description
The legend among military boots. The M77 is one of the most famous military boots in the world — so iconic it's even mentioned on the Wikipedia page about combat boots.
More than 50 years ago, the first version was delivered to the Norwegian army, and to this day, several NATO armies rely on the M77. Its development took ten years: the Norwegian army set tough requirements for wear resistance, comfort, weight, and moisture resistance — and the boots had to be easy to maintain. The result: a no-nonsense boot made of thick full-grain leather, steel, and polyurethane. No frills, just quality.
Why the M77:
- Water-repellent full-grain leather, 2.8-3 mm thick — made to last for years
- Trusted by the Norwegian army and several NATO armies
- Anatomical footbed: shock-absorbing, antibacterial, and washable
- Breathable and comfortable, even with intensive use
- Unisex — designed for both men and women
Please note: sizes run large, intended to be worn with thermal or double socks. Wearing them in winter? Combine them with our M77 Inner Socks, specially made for this boot.

What customers say
"I've had my Samelin boots for over a year now, and they've taken a beating — rain, mud, concrete, you name it. Still look good, still feel good."
— Ants
"The leather is thick, the stitching is perfect, and they only get more comfortable the more you wear them. Feels like a secret I almost don't want to share."
— Aleksander
"Never heard of Samelin before, but I took a chance. Glad I did. These boots feel like something my grandfather would have worn."
— Jonas
"I've hiked, worked, and even gone out in them, and they've never let me down. Plus, they don't look like overly tactical gear — just classic, solid boots."
— Kadri
"Good, reliable boots, but they took a while to break in. I also initially got the wrong size — I normally wear size 45, but size 44 fit better for these."
— Aivar
